Disneyland clears parade route as smoke billows from Paint the Night float
The Disneyland Fire Department was called to address the smoking Little Mermaid float that was being towed after experiencing a brake issue.

“The Little Mermaid float had a power issue on Wednesday, Sept. 10 during the Paint the Night parade, according to Disneyland officials.

“A complication with the brakes led to visible smoke coming from the Little Mermaid float while it was being towed, according to Disneyland officials.

“Disneyland cast members removed guests and performers from the parade route out of abundance of caution while the Disneyland Fire Department addressed the issue, according to Disneyland officials.”
