Twenty-five years later, Disney California Adventure park, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Downtown Disney District have continued to evolve and welcome families from all over the world.

“In celebration of these destinations’ 25th anniversaries in 2026, you can enjoy an attraction, food, merchandise, and more that nod to Disney history. These offerings add to the festive fun of the limited-time Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration.”

“Announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in August of 2024, Avengers Campus is finally getting its planned E-Ticket plus a brand new Iron Man attraction.

“Avengers Infinity Defense will be a motion based dark ride filled with sets and screens to create an epic adventure with Marvel’s Mightiest Heroes.

“Stark Flight Lab, which will be located inside the same building, will feature a technology showcase by Tony Stark himself, using a new Kuka arm ride system as it swings guests side to side and upside down.”

“Anaheim was fifth in the nation last year for hotel occupancies, Waterman reported, with an average 72.3% occupancy rate year-round. A 3% increase is projected for this year.

“The convention bookings are also projected to bring $22.1 million in Transient Occupancy Tax, or hotel tax, revenue to city coffers. The 15% tax on hotel stays generates nearly 40% of Anaheim’s budget. This fiscal year, Anaheim leaders expects the tax to generate $246.6 million, according to city estimates.”
