“A new miniature of Rapunzel’s Tower will be added to the Storybook Land Canal Boats in Fantasyland when the boat ride reopens this winter in honor of the Anaheim theme park’s 70th anniversary celebration.

“Concept art shows the tower with a shingled turret will be located between the Patchwork Quilt and Toad Hall along the banks of the attraction.

“A miniature boat reminiscent of the one used by Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the famous lantern scene in ‘Tangled’ will be docked nearby in the water beneath a Casey Jr. Circus Train trellis bridge.”

“Disney Live Entertainment is hosting a casting call for actors, singers, dancers and musicians on Oct. 14 and 17 for a new show coming to Disneyland, according to the Disney Auditions website.

“Disneyland plans to pull together a vibrant, energetic and dynamic ensemble of seven actors and five musicians from a diverse spectrum of theatrical and cultural backgrounds.”

“The new permanent Earl of Sandwich location under construction on the west end of Downtown Disney will open this winter, according to company officials.

“The Carnaby menu will feature Ramsay’s take on classic British pub favorites — including Beef Wellington, Fish and Chips and Sticky Toffee Pudding.”

“Disneyland filed a building permit with the city of Anaheim to refurbish the Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel, according to city records.

“The permit calls for Imagineering to replace the show effects, show lighting and mechanical and electrical systems inside Trader Sam’s and replace the gas tiki torches outside the bar.”

“Top-tier, one-day tickets to Disneyland and DCA now cost $224 for a single park admission and $314 for a parkhopper ticket. A decade ago, a daily ticket to Disneyland or DCA cost $99 in 2015 and a parkhopper ticket was $155 before Disneyland moved to a tiered pricing system.

“With the latest hikes, the most expensive tickets in Disneyland’s seven-tier pricing system rose 8.7% from $206 to $224 for one-day single park admission and 11.7% from $281 to $314 for a one-day parkhopper.

“The lowest-priced one day, one park ticket has remained unchanged at $104 since 2019. The cheapest one-day parkhopper ticket climbed 3% from $169 to $174.

“Parkhopper upgrades that once tacked on $65 to $75 depending on the ticket tier will now set you back $70 to $90.”
