“‘Bluey’s Best Day Ever’ will debut March 22 in the Fantasyland Theatre at the Anaheim theme park.

“‘Bluey’ is an Australian children’s TV series about a 6-year-old puppy named Bluey and her family, neighbors and school friends who invent elaborate games to play in each episode of the Peabody- and Emmy-winning animated show.”

“Disneyland plans to sunset the Enchant Key and raise prices on the replacement Explore Key as the Anaheim theme park shuffles the four-tier lineup of the Magic Key annual pass program.

“The new $999 Explore Key will go on sale Jan. 13 as a replacement for the $974 Enchant Key that will be discontinued starting on the same date.

“The $599 Southern California resident Imagine Key will also go back on sale Jan. 13 no earlier than 9 a.m. The Inspire and Believe Keys are currently on sale.

“The new Explore Key will offer similar blockout dates as the Enchant Key with additional reservation availability during weekdays in June and July.”

“Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will offer kids tickets for as little as $50 good for one-day, one-park visits on May 22 through Sept. 7.

“That’s a steep discount on kids tickets that typically cost $98 to $214 for a one-day, one-park visit.

“The limited-time Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer sale begins on Jan. 21 for discount tickets for children ages 3 through 9. Disneyland has not said when the deal will end — which could be at any time.

“Kids discounts are also available on two-day and three-day tickets during the same dates. Multiday tickets have a “fuse” that requires they be used within 13 days of the first visit or before the end of the deal — whichever comes first.”

“Hotels in the Anaheim Tourism Improvement District are set to free up about $3 million in annual funds to go toward workforce housing in the city.

“The Anaheim tourism district is a cluster of 93 hotels around the Disneyland area, Angel Stadium and Honda Center that collect a 2% fee on each night’s stay that they pool toward tourism promotion and transportation improvements. That is on top of the 15% city tax assessed on all hotel stays in Anaheim.

“The City Council recently approved changes to the Anaheim tourism district and the way its revenue is spent to direct some of the 2% toward housing needs.”
