Disneyland previews new Bayou Country before Tiana’s Bayou Adventure debuts
A Winnie the Pooh ride and shop are set to return as Critter Country transforms into Bayou Country.

“A Winnie the Pooh ride and shop will reopen ahead of the debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as Disneyland begins unveiling the transformation of Critter Country into Bayou Country to welcome Princess Tiana to the rethemed land.
“Disneyland will reopen the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh dark ride and the Pooh Corner candy store on Thursday, Aug. 29.”

Construction begins in 2025 on the expansion that will double the size of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.

“Stark Flight Lab looks like two rides in one — featuring a stationary Kuka RoboCoaster motion simulator and a separate tracked ride experience.
“Concept art for Stark Flight Lab shows a multi-step process with riders loading into a two-person pod, docking with a base attached to a track, detaching from the base for the Kuka robot arm experience and reattaching with the dock to continue along the track.”

“The Red Car Trolley at Disney California Adventure will close in early 2025, according to Disneyland officials.
“The Red Car Trolley opened in 2012 as part of the reimagining of the DCA entry promenade with a thematic motif that paid homage to Walt Disney’s 1920s Los Angeles.
“The expansion of Avengers Campus will displace the backstage location of the Red Car Trolley barn, according to Disneyland officials.”

Disneyland to remove negative stereotypes from Peter Pan’s Flight
The Never Land Tribe scene changes are expected to be similar to those made at Florida's Magic Kingdom.

“The changes to Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland at Disneyland follow recent updates to its sister ride at Florida’s Magic Kingdom.
“Disneyland expects to update the Never Land Tribe scene in Peter Pan’s Flight with changes similar to those made at the Magic Kingdom, according to Disneyland officials.
“Timing of the changes to Peter Pan’s Flight at Disneyland have yet to be confirmed, according to Disneyland officials.”
“These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now,” according to the Disney+ disclaimer.

“Disneyland has filed building permits valued at $5 million with the city of Anaheim to replace show elements, lighting, audio and show systems on the landmark audio-animatronic attraction in the Main Street Opera House, according to city records.
“The new animatronic show will be based on the life of Walt Disney who will recount his own history, the projects he was working on at the time of his death and future plans he was busy dreaming up.
“The set for the new show approximates Walt Disney’s office suite on the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank when he died in 1966.”

First look at Earl of Sandwich rooftop bar coming to Downtown Disney
The temporary Earl of Sandwich in the former La Brea Bakery will close in 2025.

“A new Earl of Sandwich rooftop bar at Downtown Disney will pay tribute to the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and other 1960s rock bands when the nomadic restaurant finally gets a permanent home at the outdoor mall next to Disneyland.
“The ground floor of the two-story location will feature a traditional Earl of Sandwich fast casual restaurant with a new light and airy look that will be familiar to Downtown Disney customers.”

“Isidori’s full-service steakhouse will serve prime cuts of beef, chops, seafood, sandwiches and salads with bourbon-focused craft cocktails. The adjacent quick-service barbecue restaurant will offer pulled pork, beef brisket and smoked wings with house-made sauces along with moonshine cocktails and craft beers.”

Disneyland spends $600,000 to replace Jungle Cruise animatronic tiger scene
The Jungle Cruise will close Sept. 16 to Oct. 3 for a seasonal refurbishment.

“The Jungle Cruise suddenly closed in November when the infrastructure crumbled around the audio-animatronic tiger across from the Indiana Jones Adventure temple entrance, according to MiceChat.
“The tiger scene was hidden behind green scrims until a wooden fence could be built around the animatronic animal to hide the necessary repairs. The temporary fence hid a rock shrine arch that frames the tiger. A quartet of animatronic crocodiles remain on the steps below the tiger.”
